Prior to his gastric bypass surgery, this 5’7 patient had weighed 368 pounds.  After successfully losing more than half his weight with surgery and healthy lifestyle changes, he desired a body lift to improve his appearance as well as alleviate the discomfort caused by the redundant excess skin on his upper torso and arms.  I removed 500ccs of volume from his chest with liposuction before performing his brachioplasty and excising excess skin from his upper lateral chest.  A total of 1130 grams (2.5 pounds) of excess skin and tissue were removed.  His transformation is seen in the photos below, taken at his pre-op visit and 9 month follow up visit.
