Breast Lift Case #190

This is a 45 year old woman who was dissatisfied with her appearance.  In addition to raising three children, her body had undergone significant changes as a result of having undergone gastric bypass surgery 3 years earlier. 

During surgery I first performed liposuction, removing 700cc of fat from her bra line, and 2200ccs of volume along her flanks.  Next I performed a tummy tuck, removing 2595 grams of excess skin along her midsection and removing an additional 77 grams from the mons-pubis area (approximately 5.8 pounds of excess skin were removed during this part of her procedure alone!).  During the final portion of her Mommy Makeover, I performed a mastopexy to restore her breasts to a more youthful position and to correct her pre-surgical asymmetry.   356 grams of excess skin and tissue were removed from her right breast and 380 grams were removed from the left (approximately 1.6 pounds).
