Capsulectomy, explant, and secondary breast lift

This patient from Houston, TX is seen here before and 5 months after a capsulectomy, removal of saline implants, and a secondary breast lift.  Several years prior, she had undergone a breast augmentation with saline implants with perioareolar insertion.  Several weeks prior to surgery, I performed a simple implant deflation at my office with just local anesthesia.  This was done to ensure that the amount of breast tissue the patient had available for the mastopexy (breast lift) would satisfy her desired outcome from surgery. 

The size of the implants removed were 275 on the right and 265 on the left.  I used a superior pedicle technique for her breast lift to achieve modest upper pole fullness.
