This is a 34-year-old mother of 3 from Pearland who desired a very modest breast augmentation. She had breastfed all three of her children for at least six months. During the nursing, her breasts had become very large and full and after the nursing, she complained that her breasts had deflated and the skin sagged. She was 5’9’’ and 137 pounds and wore a 34B cup bra that she did not fill.
When she met with me for a breast augmentation consultation at my Houston office, this patient requested small saline breast implants that would make her a full B only and no larger. She had had two previous needle biopsies that had left her with pinpoint scars on the sides of her breasts. She was concerned about a future scar after breast augmentation so we decided to put the incision in the crease of the breast, which is the least visible location.
The patient is shown after a breast augmentation with a 275 cc Moderate plus profile smooth round saline implant that is filled to 300cc and is in the sub-pectoral location. I used a moderate plus profile implant to give the breast fullness without creating too much projection and only slighly overfilled the implant in order to keep it soft. Although I thought about using a bigger implant, I kept the implant relatively small since the patient was very concerned about not being larger than a B cup.
The patient is shown here 3 months after surgery. She was very happy about her results after surgery and has referred several of her friends to me for both surgical and medical spa services.
