Tummy Tuck with Hernia and Diastasis Recti Repair

Three pregnancies took a significant toll on this mother’s abdomen.  As seen in her before photos, she had very stretched skin which allowed visualization of the impression of her intestines, significant rectus diastasis (muscle separation), and dense central striae (“stretch marks”).  To achieve the results seen here at her 1 year follow up visit, I performed a standard tummy tuck to remove 510 grams (approx. 1.12 lbs) of excess skin in addition to creating an internal corset with diastasis recti repair.
