Tummy Tuck Case #121

To achieve the beautiful results seen here, I performed a tummy tuck along with liposuction on this 31 year old mother of 3 from Humble Texas. I reduced the circumference of her umbilicus by incising her navel as well as a scar that she had developed from a previous umbilical hernia repair.  1601 grams (3.5 lbs) were removed in total. 

Next, liposuction was performed to remove 500ccs of fat from her upper abdomen.  1300cc of fat were removed from patient’s right upper and lower back.  Another 1300 ccs were removed from her left upper and lower back.  1601 grams (3.5 pounds) of skin and tissue were removed during her abdominoplasty.
 

As seen in her after photo, taken 9 months after surgery, she achieved dramatic results with minimal scarring.  Embrace Scar therapy, which promotes healing and therefore helps prevent scarring before it even starts, was used to ensure she could fully enjoy the results of her surgery.
