Tummy tuck with ventral hernia repair on 48 year old mother of 2

This is a 48 year old mom of 2 who had previously undergone a laparoscopic assisted colon resection for diverticulitis. 10 months later the patient had a laparoscopic hernia repair with mesh and within 3-9 months the patient had a recurrence of the hernia.  This resulted in Patient now has a very large ventral hernia which she hoped to have repaired at the same time as a tummy tuck.

In addition to performing a hernia repair, 6.09 pounds of excess skin were removed from her midsection to tighten and tone the area for a more aesthetically pleasing result.
