This 35 year old patient came to me to improve her figure after having lost 150 pounds with gastric bypass surgery 5 years prior.  To achieve the results seen in these after photos, taken at her 6 month follow up visit, I performed a Fleur-de-Lis Abdominoplasty.  Where as a traditional abdominoplasty/tummy tuck involves an incision along the lower abdomen, a Fleur-De-Lis abdominoplasty is better suited for cases like this where excess tissue and skin laxity is particularly significant.  This technique utilizes an additional midline vertical incision to comprehensively restore and renew a more natural look to the body following extreme weight-loss.
