In order to more conveniently serve her plastic surgery patients throughout the Houston area, Dr. Camille Cash recently opened a second location and will be expanding into a new building in early 2012.
Houston, Texas (July 2010) – Houston plastic surgeon Dr. Camille Cash is expanding her practice by opening a second location on Dotson Road near the Willowbrook Methodist Hospital in Northwest Houston to better serve her patients. She will also be expanding her downtown office into a new free-standing building in early 2012. This will allow her to accommodate more patients comfortably in her growing practice. The only female African American plastic surgeon in Houston and in Texas to be certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Cash is a plastic surgeon of choice and continues to look for ways to help more patients.
“It’s truly rewarding to see my practice grow,” says Dr. Cash. “Helping people look and feel better is why I started a cosmetic plastic surgery practice, and now that we have two locations, it’s more convenient for patients to come and see me.”
Dr. Cash is particularly interested in improving access to plastic surgery in Houston and sharing information about the benefits of plastic surgery – particularly for breast cancer survivors. Currently, Dr. Cash serves on the Board of Directors of The Sisters Network® Inc. (SNI), which is a national organization for African American breast cancer survivors. SNI works to call attention to the detrimental impact that breast cancer has on the minority community. By being a part of this organization, Dr. Cash hopes to make African American breast cancer survivors more aware of treatment and reconstruction options and to provide greater access to early detection procedures.
“Giving back to the community means a lot to me,” Dr. Cash explains. “I was raised with a strong moral drive to give back in the best way I can. For me, that means using the skills I’ve learned to help others, and always trying to understand what my patients really want. After all, they are real people with real concerns and I always take that into account when I work with them.”
Dr. Cash is also expanding the diversity of her patients by including more men. According to Dr. Cash, more and more men are beginning to see how cosmetic plastic surgery can benefit them. She sees many women who are interested in breast enhancement , tummy tucks, and liposuction in Houston, but Dr. Cash offers body contouring procedures and breast/chest reduction procedures for men as well. Also, the non-surgical procedures like BOTOX® Cosmetic, wrinkle fillers and laser hair removal, that Dr. Cash provides appeals to a wider range of potential patients.
“More men are realizing that they can benefit from cosmetic surgery,” Dr. Cash says. “In truth, it doesn’t take a lot to feel much better about your self image. That’s why I’m thrilled to offer more convenient access at my practice; now more people can enjoy the benefit of a little rejuvenation.”
